Víno upoutá vaši pozornost svou příjemnou ovocností a lahodným projevem. Barva je intenzivní, rubínově červená s fialovým okrajem. Ve vůni najdete tóny bobulového ovoce, pepře nebo fialky. Chuť je příjemně zakulacená, s delikátním tříslem a tóny tmavého ovoce, ostružin nebo maliny. Pěkné, dlouhé, harmonické víno.
Severovýchodní strana kopce Montalcino, 300 m nad mořem. Půdy střední textury bohaté na jíl, mořské zkameněliny a v nejvyšší části také pískovce.
50% Merlot, 50% Sangiovese Brunello
Sangiovese and Merlot grapes are handpicked, harvested and fermented separately.
After destemming, grapes are fermented and macerated for 40-50 days in stainless steel tanks.
Sangiovese 12 months in large French and slavonian oak barrels (32-35 hl),
Merlot: 12 months in small French oak barrels (500 L)
On the nose fragrant with prevailing notes of wild blackberry and raspberry, red rose and a hint of black pepper. On the mouth smooth and elegant balanced with a pleasant freshness. Long persistence.

Vinařství Ridolfi bylo založeno v roce 2011, původně bylo majetkem šlechtické rodiny Ridolfi z Florencie, kteří měli v Montalcinu značné pozemky.
Enolog vinařství Ridolfi Gianni Maccari je jedním z posledních žáků Giulia Gambelliho, o kterém mnozí tvrdí, že byl největším toskánským vinařem všech dob.
Giuseppe, majitel Ridolfi nabídl Maccarimu spolupráci na tomto novém projektu. Maccari se okamžitě pustil do výstavby a nákupu technologií pro toto zbrusu nové vinařství. Ve vinařství používají většinou velkoformátové sudy „botti“ od špičkových francouzských, rakouských a italských bednářů.
Panství pokrývá 35 hektarů, z nichž 21 je osázeno vinnou révou. Z toho je 13,5 hektaru věnováno výrobě Brunella a jeden hektar je věnován Rosso di Montalcino. Nejstarší vinice na pozemku byly vysazeny v roce 2001.
Půda ležící na severním úpatí města Montalcino, toto místo má ideální půdní profil a je stvořeno k pěstování hroznů Sangiovese. Půda je zde tvořena směsí jílu, vápence a písku, která vínům z odrůdy Sangiovese propůjčuje delikátní vůni, bohatou chuť a dlouhověkost. Na vinicích se používají postupy ekologického zemědělství.

In a land of ancient civilizations – full of art and history, that the landscape characterizes with oaks, chestnut trees, olive trees, pines, vineyards, among hills dotted with cypresses – in Florence in 1290, three Ridolfi families stem from an ancient Tuscan lineage. One of these – the Ridolfi of Borgo - originated the Sienese branch called "dalla Contrada" , where it had its own estates.
For centuries, priors, gonfaloniers and illustrious celebrities distinguished themselves under its aegis. Nowadays that very coat of arms shines on the labels of a great winery. Two estates - Ridolfi in Montalcino and Tenuta Rocchetto in Larciano - over 54 hectares of land, 21 of which are cultivated vineyards.
And a persistent research for excellence, heritage of a noble Tuscan taste that has been handed on unaltered through history.
